On St Patrick's Day, Oliver and I will be attempting a gruelling trail run - the Queen Elizabeth Country Park Half Marathon. For Oliver, it will be his first official half marathon. We're raising funds for Katharine House Hospice - an amazing place that cares for patients and their families at the end of their journey.

It’s been a few years since I last done anything for Katharine house. So this seemed the right time. This year it’s time to go long again. Starting with country to capital a 43 mile ultra starting in Wendover and finishing in central London on the 6th of January. Then heading back to endure 24, which as a team of 8 we have won a couple of times. In memory of Anne Leverton.

In memory of Brenda Long, me and Jake are running the grizzly race in 2024. The race itself is a multi terrain run which is 19 miles along the Dorset coast. Named the ‘grizzly’ because of the harsh terrain and the unforgiving weather at that time of year, it is a great challenge for both of us.

From the moment she arrived she felt secure and what a privilege to spend her final time there. The gardens, care and kindness were what she needed. We all felt comfortable being at the hospice and your care extended to us all."

"We will never forget the support the kind staff provided from the second he was admitted until his passing at the every end. They treated him with care and compassion, and endless tea for him and his visitors."

I will visit the KHH shop regularly. I also visit patients in KHH for their foot health care services in which I donate all monies into your donations box and fill in a card to enable you to claim extra money. My father & other family ,friends have been very luck to have had such fantastic care given to them & myself, family members when visiting my loved ones , that I feel I want to give something back , I feel very lucky that we have KHH on my doorstep.
